UML standing committee meet put off

The Standing Committee meeting of CPN UML has been put off without entering into the agenda.

CPN UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli postponed the standing committee meeting till Sunday for the party unity. The meeting held at Tulasi Lal Memorial Foundation in Lalitpur this afternoon was postponed without entering into any agenda.

UML standing committee member and parliamentary party deputy leader Subash Nembang informed that the meeting was adjourned to take further efforts for unity.

"At the onset of the meeting, chair Oli enquired about the efforts made so far from the dissolved taskforce on party unity", Nembang said, adding, "I had apprised chair Oli of the discussion on party unity held this morning. Then, he postponed the meeting to advance the efforts for party unity".

Leader Nembang further shared that the meeting has been put off as some leaders are effortful to approach senior leader Nepal for party unity. ---
