Nepal’s tri-series cricket competition in Spain postponed

The tri-series cricket competition that Nepal was supposed to participate in has been postponed. The Nepali cricket team was supposed to play the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 in Spain in July. The other countries in the competition were Namibia and Scotland.

Organisers have said that the competition has been postponed by a year due to the fear of the COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the Cricket Association of Nepal had already selected players for a closed training camp to prepare for the tri-series.

The players who had been selected were Gyanendra Malla, Kushal Bhurtel, Arif Sheikh, Paras Khadka, Dipendra Singh Aire, Ashif Sheikh, Kushal Malla, Binod Bhandari, Karan KC, Sandeep Lamichhane, Sompal Kami, Kamal Singh Aire, Avinash Bohara, Sandeep Jora, Sahab Alam, Sushan Bhari, Sharad Veshwakar, Bikram Sob, Pawav Sarraf and Prithu Baskota.
