U-19 Asia Cup: Nepal to face Bangladesh

Nepal is playing against Bangladesh today in the ACC U-19 Asia Cup in UAE. The match between Nepal and Bangladesh will start at 11:15 am Nepali time at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

Nepal has yet to beat Bangladesh in the U-19 Asia Cup. Nepal last lost to Bangladesh by 6 wickets in the U-19 Asia Cup held in Sri Lanka in 2019 BS. The Nepali team under the captaincy of Dev Khanal has reached UAE with the aim of defeating the Test nation this time. Coach Basanta Shahi Thakuri said the goal was to surprise the Test nation, adding that the goal was to reach the knockout stage.

In the group stage, Nepal will play two Test nations, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Captain Dev, Arjun Kumal, Arjun Saud, Vivek Yadav and other players who have done well in the domestic competition including Gulshan Jhas who have already played for the national team are in the Nepali team.
