Women's national team reduced to 35 players

Kumar Thapa, head coach of the Women's national team, has reduced his preliminary squad to 35 players. Previously, there were a total of 58 players in the closed camp on July 24, 2022. Women's National Team is currently preparing for the SAFF Women's Championship to be held from 6th to 19th of September this year.

Nepal is hosting the championship in, Kathmandu at Dasharath Stadium.

The 35 members from the squad include:

Goalkeepers: 

Anjila Tumbapo Subba, Anjana Rana Magar, Usha Nath, Kabita BK

Defenders:

Hira Kumari Bhujel, Srijana Singh Thakuri, Ganga Gurung, Amrita Jaishi, Gita Rana, Puja Rana, Punam Jargha Magar, Nisha Thokar, Srijana Chemjong, Bimala BK, Samiksha Ghimire

Midfielders:

Bimala Chaudhary, Manjali Kumari Yonjan, Sabita Rana Magar, Preeti Rai, Saru Limbu, Dipa Rai, Dipa Shahi, Indira Rai, Saraswoti Ayer, Anita Basnet, Hima Chaudhary, Kusum Kathiwada

Forwards:

Sabitra Bhandari, Amisha Karki, Rekha Poudel, Anita KC, Rashmi Kumari Ghising, Rajani Thokar, Nirmala BK, Chandra Bhandari
