CAAN requests not to unnecessarily crowd airports

The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) has requested everyone not to come and greet or bid farewell except in urgencies due to the limited space at the airport.

The office has requested all not to create a crowd in the airport due to growing COVID cases. A special request has been made in the press release to all the stakeholders to ensure that the daily air service is resumed only and to avoid unnecessary congestion at the airport. They have also requested all to follow COVID protocols while traveling.

Also, in view of the risk of COVID-19, the pass will not be provided by the airport office except in very urgent cases.
