Gautam Buddha International Airport starts Calibration flights

Calibration flight is starting from today at Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa, Rupandehi. Aero Thai flight from Thailand arrived at Gautam Buddha Airport on Thursday evening for a mechanical test flight.

The test flight started from 10 am today. After 10 days of technical test flight, test flight are conducted by Nepal Airlines Corporation. After that, preparations for the commercial flight will begin. The government aims to start commercial flights from Gautam Buddha International Airport on the upcoming Buddha Purnima, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.
