Jazeera to operate regular flights at Gautam Buddha Int'l Airport

Kuwait's Jazeera Airways is set to launch its first commercial flight at Gautam Buddha International Airport, a project of national pride. Jajeera has applied to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) to operate regular flights from May 16 (Buddha Jayanti). According to NEA Deputy Director General Dev Chandra Lal Karna, Jajira has applied for regular daily flights. Jajira will fly Kuwait-Bhairahawa-Kuwait directly. Jajira is currently operating regular flights to Kathmandu.

The Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) will conduct a test flight at Gautam Buddha Airport on April 14 after the recent mechanical test flight 'Calibration Flight'. Deputy Director General Karna informed that commercial international flights will be opened from April 14 after the test flight at Gautam Buddha Airport on April 20. He also said that all the necessary preparations have been completed for the commercial flight.
