A trekking route linking Andha Galchi, Rupse Waterfall, and Baja Dhunga Cave has been constructed in the Myagdi district.

The trekking route built with railing starts from Kavre Gaun nearby Andha Galchi (one of the deepest gorges in the world) to Baja Dunga Cave via Rupse waterfall was constructed at the grant of Annapurna Rural Municipality.

A viewpoint was also built at the cliff for the visitors to soak up the panoramic view of the locality, said a ward member of Annapurna rural municipality-3, Lal Bahadur Pun.

The newly built trekking route is expected to facilitate the visitors coming to Myagdi to visit Andha Galchi, Rupse waterfall, and Baja Dunga. The trail, measuring around one kilometer in length, also aims to attract the trekkers who go or return from the Mustang district.

It takes roughly 30 minutes to reach Baja Dhunga Cave from Kavre Village on foot.

The Annapurna rural municipality had allocated Rs 2 million for the construction of the trekking trail. Consumer Committee Chairperson Sunil Paija shared that locals provided voluntary labor worth Rs 219,478 for the construction of the route.
