Bhim Acharya

CPN (UML) candidate Bhim Acharya has been elected in Sunsari 2. He was elected as a member of the House of Representatives with 32 thousand 8 votes.

It may be noted that 47 signatures are enough for the election of the Chief Minister in the 92-member Provincial Assembly of Province 1.

Chief Minister of Province No 1, Bhim Acharya has decided to resign.

As the Chief Minister of Province 1, Bhim Acharya is short of six Provincial Assembly (PA) members, the leader of the main opposition Rajib Koirala has said Nepali Congress will lead the new provincial government.

Chief Minister of Province 1, Sherdhan Rai has resigned from his post at noon and Bhim Acharya has been appointed as new Chief Minister of the province.
