Blacktopped

Minister for Health and Population Padam Giri has promised to blacktop roads in all wards of the district within five years.

Only 30 km of the road section has been blacktopped even though 12 years have already elapsed since the road construction was initiated in 2009.

A new track road stretching seven kilometers has been constructed under the Terai-Madhes Road Infrastructure Special Programme.

A cemented bridge has been constructed over the Jyamire River at Makwanpurgadhi Rural Municipality-5 of Makwanpur district.
