Due to the meaningful efforts of the government and continuous diplomatic efforts, India is ready to purchase electricity wasted during the rainy season.

Nepal and India have agreed to develop large hydropower projects in Nepal through joint investments, the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation said on Thursday.

A delegation including Energy Secretary to the Government of India Alok Kumar paid a courtesy call on Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Pampha Bhusal today.

Nepal-India Joint Secretary level meeting is being held in Kathmandu today. The joint secretary level meeting will be held at the Hyatt Hotel at 3 pm.

Minister for Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation Pampha Bhusal said that even the tenants can get a separate meter from NEA.
