The Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA) has completed its first anniversary, but the second international airport after the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, going through setbacks has added to the worries of the investors.

After two and a half months, Jazeera Airways has started flights from Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA).

Himalaya Airlines is starting its first regular commercial charter flight from Gautam Budha International Airport in Bhairawa from Thursday, November 3.

The airline will be operating in the Bhairahawa-Kuala Lumpur-Bhairahawa sector for its initial phase.

At present, the airways have been conducting flights at the airport three days a week

The flights commenced on May 15, 2022.

A plane of Jazeera Airlines landed at the airport for the first time at 7 am today.

International airlines can now land at the GBIA when the Kathmandu airport is not operating.
