A meeting of the NOC board of directors held on Wednesday has increased the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene by Rs 5 per litre with effect from 12 midnight.
The Nepal Oil Corporation has increased the price of fuel with effect from today. The prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene have been increased by Rs. 5 per litre.
An additional 2,000 MW of electricity could be consumed for cooking purposes in urban areas, 1,000 MW in the transport sector, and 2,000 MW in the industrial sector if the distribution system is improved by speeding up.
