Bandregaun of Malika in Baglung district, a village near the district headquarters, is reeling under a crisis for the shortage of drinking water for years.

The shortage of drinking water has especially hit hard the hoteliers at bazaar area of the district headquarters.

The existing water supply in the Kathmandu Valley is less than one third of the demand.
