Under the 19th Asian Games, Nepal has won a consolation victory in women's volleyball in the last match.

Kyrgyzstan defeated the Maldives in the match held today under the NSC-CAVA (Central Asian Volleyball Association) Women's Volleyball Challenge Cup tournament underway in the capital.

After losing to India in the last match of the group stage, Nepal reached the semi-finals as the runner-up.

In the match held on Tuesday at the National Sports Council Covered Hall, Nepal defeated Bangladesh in straight sets by 3-0 to register its second consecutive win and secure a place in the semi-finals.
