Tukucha Girls Hostel in Ward No. 29 of Kathmandu Metropolitan City has been fined Rs 50,000 for polluting the environment by posting posters on various poles and walls.
The Metropolitan Corporation has stated that throwing the waste produced by itself in the street, road, or any public place is illegal. The metropolis's monitoring team will act against those who throw garbage illegally.
The Kathmandu Metropolitan City has called on people not to throw waste indiscriminately and to avoid fines.
