Constituent Assembly Chairman and CPN (UML) Vice Chairman Subash Chandra Nemwang passed away due to heart attack at the age of 71. According to Gorkhapatra online He suffered a heart attack at home and was taken to the Maharajganj University Teaching Hospital for treatment, but he died on the way.
The head of the emergency department of the teaching hospital Ramesh Maharjan said that he was brought to the hospital at 1:20 pm.
According to Dr Maharjan, the hospital officially announced the death of leader Nembang at 4:20 minutes.
He collapsed while going to the bathroom and his family members rushed him to the hospital for immediate treatment, but he died on the way.
Dr. Maharjan said, "The big team of our hospital tried very tirelessly, but it was not possible to save him as he died on the way."
