Darchula Incident: Indian construction company admits mistake

The Home Ministry has written to the Foreign Ministry for necessary coordination and initiatives for proper relief and compensation to the victim's family over the incident that a 9-year-old boy from Darchula, Pawan Mahara, was killed as a stone hurled from an explosion at Darchula of India.

The stone hurled from the explosion made on the Indian side hit the boy at Thihi of Byas Rural Municipality-2 of Darchula on the Nepali side. The incident occurred on Friday. Mahara is from Dumling village in the same rural municipality.

The Home Ministry further said it was doing investigation on the incident.
