The last rites of late Subash Nembang, Speaker of the Constituent Assembly, were performed at Pashupati Aryaghat today.
His last rites were performed with royal honours. His sons, Mingso and Suhang Nembang, lit the funeral pyre.
Prime Minister Dahal draped the national flag of Nepal over the body of late Nembang.CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli draped the party flag over his body.
A large number of dignitaries and people were present at Aryaghat.
The Nepal government has given a public holiday today on his death.
