Vice President Nanda Kishor Pun has observed the study of the International Mountain Museum today. He observed the museum where the collections and activities of the Himalayas were displayed.
The director of the museum, Nirmalakumari Neupane, informed the Vice President that the mountain human cell of the museum, the materials reflecting the social, cultural, religious and economic activities of the Himalayas, the origin of the world's mountain ranges, geological importance, wildlife, flora and mineral materials were exhibited.
According to him, the important and historical aspects of human activities such as mountain climbing, hiking, skiing, hunting, and research in the mountain ranges of the world are exhibited in that room. Considered as a suitable place for scholars and researchers to research about the world's mountains and mountain regions, various structures have been built in the museum complex, including a botanical garden, a model of Manaslu Himal, and a Yak of Dhalot.
On that occasion, Vice President Pun signed the visitor book kept in the museum and said that the museum is playing an important role in tourism promotion.
