Actor Bhuwan KC has been appointed as the Chairman of the Film Development Board (FDB). Sources said that KC was appointed as the board chairman in the cabinet meeting held on Monday.
The government has appointed KC from the list of 10 people announced for the post of chairman of the board.
Along with KC, the names of Arun Kumar Pradhan, Deepak Shrestha, Naresh Kumar Paudel, Nirmal Raj Dhakal, Manish Pandit, Yakkan Upreti Rauniar, Suchitra Shrestha, Sunil Kumar Pokharel and Sushma Karki were selected as candidates by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.
