Saga of a Nepali photographer

Chungwa Sherpa, a wildlife photographer, has reached the age of 62 years however he is still very active in his field.
Sherpa says he is the first Nepali photographer to have visited Tanzania, East Africa. During his time there, he had photographed countless animals.

Talking about his experience, Sherpa shares his excitement to have seen a herd of animals in the jungles of Africa which which he had only seen on television before. He had also captured pictures of Sarbal Cat, which is considered rare in Africa.

The expenses for his travel were borne by himself. This time he was assisted in this task by his doctor son.

He says that the photos taken by him will be made available free of cost to the wildlife related organizations or educational institutions if needed.

He now plans to go to the jungles of Kenya, Uganda and other countries to take pictures. He aims to organize an exhibition of wildlife photographs taken in Tanzania.

Chungwa Sherpa has not only served in the tourism sector for a long time but has been active in wildlife photography for 58 years now.
