Nepalese living in Ukraine are moving to neighboring countries to escape the ongoing conflict, with most of the Nepalese who have arrived in Poland being kept in hotels in Warsaw. The non-resident Nepali Association NRNA National Coordination Council NCC Poland and local administration manages food and accommodations.

Bodhraj Subedi, the chief patron of NRNA Poland, said in his social side that the financial burden of NRNA NCC Poland and other Nepalese living in Poland could not be borne by Nepalese. Currently, Nepalese arriving in Poland are tired and suffering from long walks or mental stress, hence the need of health counseling and health services is high priority

Nepal's Ambassador to Germany Ram Kaji Khadka had visited Poland to provide necessary assistance and coordination to Nepalese affected by the Ukraine-Russia war. NRNA Poland officials discussed with him the rescue operations in Warsaw since the beginning of the war and the situation of Nepalese. After that, Ambassador Khadka met the Nepalese who came from Ukraine in Warsaw to get information.

In the interaction program held in Warsaw, it was emphasized that other agendas should be taken into consideration now that the Nepalese who have arrived in Poland have been provided with transportation and accommodation and food.

Among those who arrived in Poland from Ukraine, Nepalese who want to stay in Poland now need to take necessary steps on agendas such as stay legalization, study continuation and work permit through legal consultation, said Subedi.

According to the latest information provided by NRNA POLAND among the Nepalese who entered Poland from Ukraine, the number of Nepalese who helped with food and shelter is 262. They are living in apartments, hostels and various other means of accommodation. This number is increasing and it is said that more Nepalese are likely to reach Poland.
