Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav has said Ayurveda and the treatment process is a philosophy of life.
"Some 80 percent of people in the world adopt traditional or alternative medicine. Now, demand is being raised for further research on it," Vice President Yadav said at a program organized by the Ayurved Medical Development and Research Foundation here Sunday.
He further viewed the Ayurveda as the mother of medical science. Yadav underscored the need for further development of Ayurveda.
Also speaking on the occasion, Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah expressed happiness over the moment that Ayurveda doctors were felicitated at the program.
