The twelfth meeting of the Patan Institute of Health Sciences was held on Sunday.
Giving instructions to the assembly, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda said that health services should be simple, convenient, and accessible to common citizens. He said that healthcare should be based on the use of the highest technology and scientific research.
The Prime Minister said that today's needs should be prioritized in community-based healthcare. He said that promoting international-level study and research in the field of health science produced skilled, quality, hardworking, and patriotic manpower. He said that to expand access to health services in remote areas, emphasis should be placed on infrastructure construction, manpower production, service delivery, and quality improvement.
