Former Chief Justice Sushila Karki has commented that the government had failed to ensure education, health, and employment to citizens.

Addressing a program organized on the 42nd anniversary of Dillibazar-based Kanya Multiple Campus here Friday, the former Chief Justice accused the government of trading education and health. "Because of the commercialization of education and health, most of the students from poor financial backgrounds are deprived of quality education," she observed.

Similarly, she viewed that as long as education is commercialized, social upliftment is impossible.

On the occasion, former chairman of the campus management committee and former minister Homnath Dahal said the country's holistic development is impossible as long as quality education and health remain elusive. He also commented that Nepal's education sector is in a sorry state.

Similarly, members of the school management committee and former minister Bikram Bahadur Thapa praised the role played by Kanya Campus to advance women's education in Nepal.

Campus Chief Aparajita Aryal informed that the Campus established in 2037BS has been providing education in education and sociology up to the MA program. Similarly, BBM, BEd, and BBS are other programs running on Campus. The Campus was established with the notion that once a woman is educated, all family members will be educated.

Professors, retired employees, best lecturers, and best employees were honored on the occasion.

The 'Pushpanjali' magazine published by the Campus was released on the occasion.
