Melamchi water supply to be stopped for two weeks

The Melamchi water supply project has stopped for two weeks from today.

Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Limited will continue to distribute water during the water supply shutdown. The water collected from springs around Kathmandu will be distributed, but the water distribution schedule will be a bit longer than before.

At present, when the Melamchi water comes, the distribution used to be done daily. However, the distribution schedule for the next two weeks is that water will be distributed every two to three days.

The distribution schedule will be announced soon. Limited was distributing 170 million liters of water when Melamchi water came. Limited will distribute 120 million liters of water when Melamchi's water supply is stopped.
