2 arrested for raping a minor

A minor has been gang-raped in Dhangadhi. According to the police report, a 13-year-old girl living in Jugeda, Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-10 was gang-raped.

After the family of the victim informed the police about the incident, the police arrested two people who were allegedly involved in the rape.

The spokesperson of the District Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kuldeep Chand informed that the 16- and 17-year-old juveniles were arrested after the victim's family lodged a complaint.

According to him, a case of rape was registered against both of them on Wednesday and the girl's health was also examined. As the accused in the incident are also minors, the police have kept their identities confidential. According to the police, further investigation is underway.
