85 thousand candidates SEE from Lumbini

85,424 candidates from Lumbini region have participated in this year's Secondary Education Examination (SEE) which started today. 80 thousand one hundred and sixty five candidates for regular general, two thousand nine hundred and fifty seven for technical edge and two thousand three hundred two candidates for grade increase are participating.

According to Lumbini Province Directorate of Education and Social Development, among the 12 districts of the province, the highest number of 18,783 students from Rupandehi and the lowest from East Rukum, 1,988 students participated in SEE. Similarly, 13,448 from Dang, 8,886 from Banke, 8,699 from Kapilvastu, 7,682 from Bardia, 6,62 from West Nawalparasi, 4,546 from Palpa, 4,722 from Gulmi, and 4,722 from Arghakhanchi. Information Officer of the Directorate Madhav Pokharel informed that 3,275, 4,51 from Rolpa and 4,172 from Pyuthan participated.

Out of all the students participating in the exam, there are 80 thousand one hundred and sixty five students in the regular category, two thousand nine hundred and fifty seven in the technical category and two thousand three hundred two students in the grade enhancement category. Yam Bahadur KC, director of Provincial Directorate of Education and Social Development, informed that 334 center presidents and 577 assistant center presidents have been assigned to 334 examination centers in all 12 districts of the province to conduct the SEE exam in a dignified, disciplined, fearless and peaceful environment.
