92 dead, 30 missing during monsoon period

During this year's monsoon, 92 people have died due to disasters across the country. In that incident, 30 people went missing and 168 were injured.

According to the information given by Dhruba Khadka, the spokesperson of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, the maximum number of landslides occurred during the monsoon period.

During the press conference organized by the Authority today at Singh Darbar, he informed that there were 459 landslides, 142 floods, 168 heavy rains and 123 lightning incidents during monsoon. This year the monsoon lasted for 124 days. This time, as predicted in the monsoon, although there was less rain, there were heavy rains and landslides that caused great damage in many places.
