CM Gurung’s message on Eid-ul-Fitr

Chief Minister of Gandaki Province Prithvi Subba Gurung has said that festivals have played an important role in strengthening national unity while maintaining social unity, harmony, and religious integrity.

In a message of greetings on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, he offered best wishes for happiness, peace, prosperity, good health, mutual harmony, unity, and fraternity to the Muslim community at home and abroad.

He expressed the hope that such festivals would help maintain fraternity among all Nepali people from different religions in the context that the country rich in multi-ethnicity, language, religion, and culture has been announced secular.

He also appealed to all Nepali people to stay safe and follow the health protocol against COVID-19 pandemic
