A tipper (Ra 1 Kha 1286) heading from east to west hit a cyclist at Pakhapani of Rapti village on the East-West Highway this morning, killing him on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Dilla Poudel, 40, of the same village, according to the Area Police Office, Bhaluwang. Though the tipper has been taken under control, the driver is still being searched for, police said.
