Driver dies as jeep plunges into Karnali River

The driver died when a Bolero jeep fell into the Karnali River in Namkha Rural Municipality of Humla. The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Rajesh Tamang of Kalipur, Bateshwar Rural Municipality of Dhanusha. The Bolero jeep, which was going from Simikot to Hilsa, fell about 70 meters below the road into the Karnali River. Humla police said that due to the difficult road, the jeep which was driving the passenger about 15 meters ahead of the incident went out of control and fell into the river.
