ECR orders Singh to submit resignation

Dilli Bahadur Singh, chairman of the Electricity Regulatory Commission, has been given seven days to submit his explanation.

The investigation committee formed regarding the efficiency of the officials of the Electricity Regulatory Commission has directed Chairman Singh to submit within that time.

It is mentioned in the information published today that action will be taken according to the law if the explanation is not given within the stipulated time. The government has formed an investigation committee saying that there is a lack of efficiency of the commission officials.

The public notice was published due to Singh's refusal to meet the committee several times in person and submit an explanation.
