Four persons including a driver died on the spot after a tipper met an accident this afternoon in Madhya Nepal Municipality in Lamjung district.
The tipper met with the accident after falling 30 metres off the Setikhola (river) while heading to Ward No. 7 of the municipality from Bhorletar in the same municipality, Police Inspector of District Police Office, Lamjung, Jagadish Regmi said.
The tipper was carrying stones for the construction of Mid-Hill Highway.
Of the deceased ones, the driver has been identified as Akash Ghimire, 27, while security officials are working to confirm the identity of three others.
