Koshi Province CM Karki takes oath

Newly appointed Chief Minister of Koshi Province, Kedar Karki, took an oath of office and secrecy before Province Chief Parashuram Khapung today.

 Karki was appointed on the post on October 14.

The Chief Minister also formed a small council of ministers today. Karki has inducted Ram Bahadur Rana Magar and Shamser Rai as ministers without portfolio to the government. According to the Office of the Province Chief, the appointments were made by the Province Chief on the recommendations of Karki.

Rana Magar represents the CPN (UML) and Rai is from the Nepali Congress in the newly constituted province government. ---
