One person was killed and another has been seriously injured in Kailali.
The deceased has been identified as Padam Raj Bhandari, 33, of Kumari Bagh of Joshipur rural municipality-6. Bhandari was rushed to Tikapur Hospital where doctors declared him dead, said Spokesperson at the District Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ved Prakash Joshi.
Another 40-year-old Jayraj Bhandari was seriously injured in the attack. He is in Nepalgunj Medical College, Kohalpur for further treatment.
Gaurilal Dhungana, 50, of the same area, who is related to the deceased, attacked them with a sickle, police said.
