Manoj Chaudhary Journalism Award to RSS Chair Jha

A working committee meeting of Rautahat chapter of the Federation of Nepali Journalists held on May 12 took the decision in this regard. The award carries a purse of Rs 25,000.

President of FNJ, Rautahat, Prem Chandra Jha, said the award would be presented on June 3.

Journalist Manoj Chaudhary died due to COVID-19 on 12 May, 2021 at the age of 41. He was the station manager of Radio Madhes Masala based in Rautahat, and Rautahat correspondent for Janakpur Today. Chaudhary of Garuda Municipality-4 is survived by a wife, a daughter and a son. His spouse, Punam Kumari, is deputy mayor of the municipality.
