Muzzleloader gun recovered in Taplejung

Police in Taplejung district recovered a muzzleloader gun loaded with gun powder from Chihandada Jungle in Meringden Rural Municipality on Sunday afternoon.

The muzzleloader gun was hidden in the Chihandada Jungle. Acting on a tip-off, security personnel deployed from the Dhovan-based Area Police Office recovered the muzzleloader gun.

Further investigation into the case is underway, said the police.
