To mark the 75th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Nepal and the United States, the Nepal Embassy hosted a musical evening by Sur Sudha, the popular Nepali classical instrumental band.
Among the guests from various US government departments, diplomatic corps in Washington, DC, and friends of Nepal at the Embassy. Welcoming Sur Sudha and the guests at the Embassy, Ambassador Sridhar Khatri said, “Sur Sudha’s albums offer listeners an opportunity to go on a musical journey of Nepal from its lowland Terai plains to the remote highlands of the mighty Himalayas. In this sense, they are one of the true musical Ambassadors of Nepal.”
