Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has given 30 points of instructions to the secretaries of the ministry on various matters of public affairs and public service.

In a meeting with the secretaries of the ministry at Singh Darbar today, Prime Minister gave instructions on matters related to good governance, service delivery and people's livelihood.

The Prime Minister was mainly interested in the sufferings faced by the common people in service delivery and gave the instructions.

Stating that the people's expectations of reaching the door-to-door service with the practice of Sanghita were not fulfilled, he commented that the performance of the last 5 years was not satisfactory as the people did so. "Now while we are having this meeting, the news has been published that we have been standing in line since two o'clock in the morning to get passports.

Getting a national identity card is equally difficult. We do not have a satisfactory answer to the question of why that identity card was necessary.” He said, "If the national identity card works at the current pace, it will take decades for the identity card to reach the hands of three million Nepalese." One has to wait for years to even get a driver's license. This should be given immediate attention."

During his address, the Prime Minister directed to give immediate priority to removing the hardships faced by citizens in getting basic services such as education, health, and transportation, distribution of passports, driver's licenses, national identity cards and submission of property tax.

Similarly, he directed to take necessary actions to control and prevent corruption, to prevent the threat of covid, to take into account the effects of cold waves and snowstorms, to facilitate the supply of daily necessities, and to speed up the work of development projects.
