Search and rescue operations continue

After the Jajarkot earthquake, the troops deployed at 13 places in Jajarkot and 7 places in West Rukum are continuing the relief work.

So far, 31 injured and 24 injured people have been transported to Nepalgunj and Surkhet from Jajarkot and Rukum West by the Nepalese Army's air vehicles.

Similarly, 1 more injured person was airlifted from Jajarkot this morning. Teams of various units including health workers and specialists are on standby at 10 locations.

125 injured people have been treated by the medical teams deployed in Jajarkot Hospital, Chaurjahari, and Athbiskot area.

The deployed forces are cooperating with other security agencies, public representatives, officials of government and non-government organizations, and the general public to remove debris from the affected areas, remove items buried in the debris of the locals, and manage the temporary shelters of the earthquake victims.

The operated air vehicles are rescuing the injured of a complex nature for further treatment as well as transporting relief materials. So far, about 10 thousand K.G. Medicines and other essential relief materials have been transported to the earthquake-affected areas.
