The Budget cannot address the current economic crisis: Chairman Oli

The main opposition party, CPN (UML), has commented that the budget presented on Monday by the government for the coming fiscal year would not be able to address the current economic crisis.

Sharing his preliminary comments on the budget for coming fiscal year 2080/81 presented by Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat on Monday's joint meeting of the federal parliament, Chairperson KP Sharma Oli said the budget cannot avert the current economic crisis.

He shared, "This budget presents the crisis, but does not offer solutions."
