Two children die in a house fire in Udayapur

Two children died from burn injuries after a house fire at Pakhatol of Rautamai Rural Municipality-8 in the Udayapur district.

Six years old daughter Jasmine and two-year-old son Rojan of Ram Bahadur Magar died after a two-storied house in Thapa caught fire after a short circuit, Spokesperson of Koshi Province Police Office, Rishiram Kandel said.

According to the police, there were no parents at the house when the fire occurred.

Property worth Rs 1 million including food grain, clothing, and others gutted in the fire.
