Former IGP Sarbendra Khanal to stand election from Kathmandu No. 6

Former Inspector General of Police Sarbendra Khanal is going to stand from District No. 6 of Kathmandu in the upcoming general election. CPN-UML has made him a candidate on behalf of his party. He joined CPN-UML some time ago.

Khanal, a resident of the same constituency, became famous for controlling activities like smuggling control, hooliganism control, and football match-fixing during his tenure as police.
