11 medals including 4 gold for Nepalese athletes

In the 7th International Taekwondo Championship held in Dehradun, India, Nepalese athletes have won 11 medals including 4 gold. Skibs Principal Arun Kumar KC, who is also the manager of the team, said that the Nepalese players won 4 golds, 3 more silvers, and 4 bronzes.

Men's less than 45 kg Brijesh Rayamajhi, less than 32 kg Raghunath Bhandari, under 50 kg Sophik Barailly, and under 45 kg Sujit Karki won gold.

Abhash Deo won two silver medals in men's under 32 kg and single pumice, while Sohan Tamang bagged the silver in men's under 37 kg.

Kshitij Ghale in men's under 41 kg, Ashim Ghimire in under 55 kg, Dipsan Thapa in under 35 kg, and Vrijesh Rayamazhi in single pumice bagged bronze.

Ranjit Bahadur Dangoura is the coach of the team. All players are from SKBC Taekwondo Dojang.
