Bhaktapur District Badminton Association is going to hold the first nationwide Bhaktapur Open Badminton Tournament. The association informed about this at a press conference held here today.
According to the president of the association Rajendra Prajapati, the competition will be held in Lilali of Bhaktapur from April 26 to 27. More than 200 players from 77 districts and all seven states will participate in the tournament. In the competition, players will compete in 6 disciplines including U-15 men's and women's, men's and women's singles, and men's doubles.
According to the competition coordinator Navin Prajapati, the U-15 men's and women's singles will be awarded Rs 15,000 for the first place, Rs 10,000 for the second place, and Rs 7,500 for third place.
