All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) bid farewell to the national U-17 football team, flying to Sri Lanka on Friday to take part in the SAFF U-17 Championship.
Chief guest National Sports Council Vice President Shiva Prasad Koirala, and ANFA President Pankaj Bikram Nembang were in the present special farewell function at ANFA Complex.
Chief guest Koirala and President Nembang addressed the program and wished the team well for the tournament. They hoped the team would finally land the elusive trophy in Sri Lanka.
The team will fly to Sri Lanka on Friday at 1 pm.
