Sandeep Lamichhane has been suspended by the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN). Kan suspended him after the Kathmandu District Court convicted him on rape charges and sentenced him to 8 years in prison.
On Wednesday, the district court in Kathmandu sentenced Sandeep to eight years in prison in the case of rape.
According to CAN, Lamichhane has been suspended from playing any domestic or international competition.
