Paras Khadka, secretary of CAN and former captain of the Nepali national cricket team, has informed that the Nepal Cricket Association CAN is in discussion regarding Nepali cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane.
In a press conference held in Kathmandu on the eve of the T20 Triangular Series cricket tournament starting tomorrow in Kathmandu, Secretary Khadka informed that player Sandeep Lamichhane did not participate in this tournament as he wanted to spend time with his family.
He hoped Sandeep Lamichhane would return to the game after this tournament. Cricket Lamichhane announced on his Facebook page that he will not play the upcoming cricket match. The case against him is currently pending in the Kathmandu District Court. Sandeep has continuously played various international cricket tournaments for the Nepali National Cricket Team.
Nepal, United Arab Emirates, and Hong Kong participate in the T20 triangular series cricket tournament.
The captains of Nepal and UAE opened the T20 triangular series trophy in Kathmandu today.
